about

This song is about some of the teething problems I have experienced living between England and Ireland. Enjoy!

lyrics

Tired of Oxford Street and hiding in crowds,
it's too loud, and my skin's all but tough.
The life that I thought I was living just isn't enough.
I met a man in Trafalgar and he told me to run.
He said try and keep up.
I could spend my whole life in this city and keep getting lost.

Home's just pubs to me,
and handshakes and fathers scrounging drinks from their sons.
The bell rings, lights go up,
he says he'd have been prouder if he died with a gun,
but his common sense won.
Now he sighs to Finvola, all the songs once sung.
On the grounds of O'Cahan I never felt young.
